Rochefort 8 – Strong Ale

Prodotta dai monaci dell’abbazia di Rochefort nei pressi di Nemen, la Rochefort 8 è una birra trappista Strong Ale con un grado alcolico pari a 9.2, degna rappresentante del mondo brassicolo belga tanto da diventare la birra più prodotta del birrificio.
Colore bruno con riflessi mogano, schiuma beige, sprigiona note fruttate, maltate e di caramello.Il corpo è deciso ma non eccessivo e il palato è piacevolmemnte avvolto da lievi sentori di liquirizia, per poi volgere su note più maltate e fruttate (uvetta, datteri, fichi, prugna). Il torrefatto dona quella lieve nota acidula che ne accompagna la bevuta. Born to be Strong!

Produced by the monks of the Rochefort abbey near Nemen, Rochefort 8 is a Trappist Strong Ale beer with an alcohol content of 9.2, a worthy representative of the Belgian brewing world so as to become the brewery’s most brewed beer.
Brown color with mahogany reflections, beige foam, releases fruity, malty and caramel notes. The body is firm but not excessive and the palate is pleasantly wrapped by slight hints of licorice, and then turns on more malty and fruity notes (raisins, dates , figs, plum). The roasted gives that light acidulous note that accompanies the drink. Born to be Strong!
