Û Orange Wild IGA
Nasce dalla collaborazione tra la Cantina Brassicola bolognese Ca’ del Brado e il vignagnolo naturale sloveno Kmetija Štekar per celebrare il 10° anno di attività del beer and wine pub bolognese Lortica. L’uva di Štekar è il Tokaj ed è utilizzata in percentuale del 20%. “Il mosto di birra è stato sottoposto ad un ambiente fermentativo spontaneo proveniente dagli acini appena colti in vendemmia, oltre ad un inoculo di brettanomyces Bruxellensis, per poi affinare per 6 mesi in botte con le bucce in macerazione.” Il risultato è una IGA dorata con schiuma quasi inesistente, comunque poco persistente e un colore tendente all’arancio. Il naso percepisce immediatamente gli aromi tipici dello stile Wild ma è in bocca che stupisce: l’acidità non è così “forte” e la rende ottima come primo approccio per i neofiti del genere o bevibile dai non amanti dello stile. Note erbacce e di frutta gialla spiccano al palato per un grado alcolico di 7.1%.

It was born from the collaboration between the Cantina Brassicola Bolognese Ca’ del Brado and the Slovenian natural vineyard Kmetija Štekar to celebrate the 10th year of activity of the Bolognese beer and wine pub Lortica. The Štekar grape is Tokaj and is used in a percentage of 20%. “The beer wort was subjected to a spontaneous fermentation environment coming from the berries just picked during the harvest, as well as an inoculation of Brettanomyces Bruxellensis, and then refined for 6 months in cask with the skins in maceration.” The result is a golden IGA with an almost non-existent foam, however not very persistent and a color tending to orange. The nose immediately perceives the typical aromas of the Wild style but it is surprising in the mouth: the acidity is not so “strong” and makes it excellent as a first approach for newcomers to the genre or drinkable by non-lovers of style. Notes of weeds and yellow fruit stand out on the palate for an alcohol content of 7.1%.
