Siamo a Capriglia Irpina dove nel 2004 nasce Maltovivo, birrificio ormai caposaldo nel mondo brassicolo italiano. Alla vista completamente nera, impenetrabile, con un bel cappello di schiuma cremoso color nocciola. Al naso aromi torrefatti di liquirizia e caffè. In bevuta un corpo rotondo e morbido la rendono una birra estremamente bevibile, in retrolfatto sfumature tostate lasciano spazio ad un leggero amaro secco chi invita di nuovo il bicchiere alla bocca. Un ottimo lavoro da parte di Luigi Serpe e soci una Porter perfetta in abbinamento con dell’ottima carne durante un bel barbecue domenicale.

We are in Capriglia Irpina where Maltovivo was born in 2004, a brewery by now a cornerstone in the Italian brewing world. To the eye completely black, impenetrable, with a nice creamy hazelnut foam hat. Roasted aromas of liquorice and coffee on the nose. When drunk a round and soft body make it an extremely drinkable beer, in the aftertaste the toasted nuances leave room for a light dry bitterness who invites the glass to the mouth again. A great job by Luigi Serpe and his associates a perfect Porter paired with excellent meat during a nice Sunday barbecue.
