Stile non troppo frequentato dai birrifici italiani, la CC è la gemella dello stile Steam Beer americano di cui si narra che il birrificio Anchor di San Francisco nel 1981 fece proprio rivendicandone la natalità.
L’etichetta riporta un faro in primo piano e tratti riconducibili all’ambiente nautico da dove trae il suo nome Bearaway (una manovra nautica).
Di colore ramato leggermente torbido e con un cappello di schiuma panna, al naso sprigiona sentori di miele e caramello assieme ad un lieve profumo di crosta di dolce appena imbrunito.
Un corpo “presente” ed una leggera carbonazione questa common ripresenta in retrolfatto i sentori caramellati e mielosi già citati, chiude con un amaro deciso dei luppoli northern Brewer.
In bevuta si riceve anche un leggero ma piacevole calore alcolico che completa una bevuta piacevole quanto abbastanza complessa.

A style not too popular with Italian breweries, the CC is the twin of the American Steam Beer style of which it is said that the Anchor brewery in San Francisco in 1981 made its own claiming its birth. The label shows a lighthouse in the foreground and traits attributable to the nautical environment from which it takes its name Bearaway (a nautical maneuver). Slightly cloudy coppery in color and with a cap of cream foam, the nose releases hints of honey and caramel together with a slight scent of a slightly browned sweet crust. A “present” body and a slight carbonation this common presents in the aftertaste the caramel and honey scents already mentioned, it closes with a decided bitterness of northern Brewer hops. In the drink you also receive a light but pleasant alcoholic heat that completes a pleasant as well as quite complex drink.
