Barley Wine – Barley wine

“Una delle nostre birre più forti”, inizia così la presentazione della Barley Wine di Kees e non poteva essere altrimenti visto il grado alcolico di tutto rispetto che ferma l’asticella a 11,5%.
Il birrificio olandese interpreta a modo suo il famoso stile anglosassone creando un “birra da meditazione” di qualità superiore.
Il colore è ambrato carico e il cappello di schiuma compatto, generoso e di color bianco sporco.
Malto, caramello e frutti rossi in aroma, mentre nel gusto, oltre ai citati aromi olfattivi, si aggiunge l’erbaceo dei luppoli Cytra e Cascade.
Il dolce comanda la bevuta e il grado alcolico si defila con classe ma comunque è meglio sedersi, rilassarsi e meditare!

The color is deep amber and the foam cap is compact, generous and off-white.
