Speedway Stout – Imperial Stout

Pluripremiata negli anni, inserita nella Top 50 di Ratebeer; già questo potrebbe bastare per presentare la Speedway Stout di AleSmith Brewing Company birrificio a stelle e strisce di base a San Diego – California.
Colore nero e cappello di schiuma cremoso, compatto, color nocciola.
Il naso è pervaso dagli aromi del caffè.
Nel palato, lo spunto iniziale è molto di liquirizia, ma appena si scalda un pochino la liquirizia si attenua molto, quasi a sparire ed escono prepotentemente il torrefatto del caffè, l’amaro e il fondente del cioccolato, leggero caramello.
Nonostante i suoi 12 gradi alcolici e l’intensità complessiva, la speedway stout è molto morbida, cremosa e facile da bere….il mastro birraio consiglia l’invecchiamento…la sfida a non berla immediatamente è aperta!

Black color and creamy, compact, nut-colored foam cap.
The nose is pervaded by the aromas of coffee.
In the palate, the initial cue is very licorice, but as soon as it warms up a little the licorice fades a lot, almost disappearing and the roasted coffee, the bitter and the dark of the coffee come out overwhelmingly. chocolate, light caramel.
Despite its 12 ABV and overall intensity, speedway stout is very smooth, creamy and easy to drink …. the brewmaster recommends aging … the challenge not to drink it immediately is open!
