Gandul – Imperial Stout

Sinceramente per presentare questa birra basterebbe citare i nomi dei due birrifici che hanno collaborato alla sua realizzazione, Garage e Lervig, forse due tra i birrifici europei che ne sanno una più del diavolo su come brassare una Imperial Stout.
Ma il dovere di appassionati e amanti della birra artigianale ci “obbliga” a spendere almeno due parole su la Gandul, come detto una Imperial Stout da 11 gradi alcolici.
Colore nero profondo e schiuma nocciola, cremosa e compatta.
Al naso un tripudio di aromi tostati, di cioccolato, vaniglia e caffè.
Al palato, caramello ed ancora il tostato dei malti, il tutto accompagnato dall’avena che dona morbidezza e spessore ad una bevuta davvero appagante.

Honestly, to present this beer it would be enough to mention the names of the two breweries who collaborated in its creation, Garage Beer Co and LERVIG perhaps two of the European breweries who know more than the devil about how to brew an Imperial Stout.
But the duty of fans and lovers of craft beer “obliges” us to spend at least two words on Gandul, as mentioned, an Imperial Stout with an 11% alcohol content. Deep black color and hazelnut foam, creamy and compact.
On the nose a riot of toasted aromas, chocolate, vanilla and coffee.
On the palate, caramel and still the toasted malts, all accompanied by oats that give softness and thickness to a truly satisfying drink.
