Fratac – Strong Ale

Siamo di nuovo in Toscana, precisamente a Prato, sede del birrificio Birrificio I Due Mastri per parlare della Fratac una Belgian Strong Ale da 6,6 gradi alcolici.
Colore dorato e leggera velatura sormontato da un cappello di schiuma bianca.
Il malto e l’azione dei lieviti donano in aroma sentori fruttati (albicocca) mentre al palato il carattere etilico e note maltate accompagnate dal leggero amaro del luppolo (est kent golding, fuggle) lasciano in retrogusto biscotto e leggerissimo panificato.
Il carattere “dolce” predomina la bevuta che rimane comunque scorrevole.

We are back in Tuscany, precisely in Prato, home of the I due Mastri brewery to talk about Fratac, a 6.6% alcoholic Belgian Strong Ale. Golden color and light glaze topped by a white foam cap. Yeasts give the aroma fruity hints (apricot) while on the palate the ethyl character and malty notes accompanied by the slight bitterness of the hops (est kent golding, fugue) leave a biscuit and very light bread-like aftertaste. The “sweet” character predominates the drink which still remains smooth.
