Imperum – Russian Imperial Stout

Birra del Bosco nasce come beer firm ma nel giro di pochissimo tempo diventa un birrificio. Tutte le loro birre sono rigorosamente prodotte seguendo l’editto della purezza tedesco e l’acqua è quella pura della falda della Paganella in Trentino Alto Adige. Tra le birre prodotte troviamo la Imperum una Russian Imperial Stout prodotta con malto di frumento e affinata per quattro mesi in botti di Rum Jamaicano. Nera, impenetrabile, con una schiuma nocciola appena accennata. Aromi di vaniglia e nocciola sono il preludio di sentori di caffè, leggera liquirizia e legno al palato. Il calore emerge nel tempo, scaldando il bicchiere tra le mani, il grado alcolico di 10,9 si nasconde con maestria, una birra meditativa, complessa…da fine serata!

Birra del Bosco was born as a beer firm but in a very short time it became a brewery. All their beers are strictly produced following the German purity edict and the water is pure from the paganella aquifer in Trentino Alto Adige. Among the beers produced we find the Imperum a Russian Imperial Stout produced with wheat malt and aged for four months in Jamaican Rum barrels. Black, impenetrable, with a slightly hinted hazelnut foam. Aromas of vanilla and hazelnut are the prelude to hints of coffee, light licorice and wood on the palate. The heat emerges over time, warming the glass in your hands, the alcohol content of 10.9 is skilfully hidden, a meditative, complex beer … from the end of the evening!
