Che dire, eravamo alla premiazione a Parma di Birra dell’anno e Francesco e gli amici di Babylon salivano sul palco a ritirare il premio a miglior bassa fermentazione in stile tedesco con la loro Panzer. Di li a poco ci siamo trovati a fine premiazione a festeggiare con loro bevendo la loro meravigliosa Keller a fiumi, felici come una Pasqua. Lo stampo è quello della Franconia, dorata e leggermente velata con un bel cappello di schiuma bianca persistente, al naso miele chiaro, pane a breve cottura, fiori ed una nota di nocciole. Corpo presente ma di facilissima bevuta, un retrolfatto inebriante mielato nonostante una chiusura decisa. Un Birra splendida giustamente premiata e riconosciuta.

What can We say, we were at the Beer of the Year award ceremony in Parma and Francesco and his friends from Babylon went up on stage to collect the award for best low fermentation in German style with their Panzer. A little later we found ourselves at the end of the awards ceremony to celebrate with them drinking their wonderful Keller, happiest than ever. The mold is that of Franconia, golden and slightly veiled with a nice persistent white foam cap, light honey on the nose, short-cooked bread, flowers and a hint of hazelnuts. Present body but very easy to drink, an incredible honeyed aftertaste despite a decisive closure. A splendid beer rightly awarded and recognized.
