Caput Mundi – Dark Strong Ale

Il binomio birra artigianale e regione Marche è per noi appassionati indiscutibile. Terra che dà i natali e vede le produzioni di molti birrifici conosciuti ed apprezzati in tutto lo stivale.
Birrificio dei Castelli è un altro gran bell’esempio della produzione marchigiana; nasce nel 2012 ad Arcevia, provincia di Ancona dove Giovanni e Roberto trasformano in professione la passione di homebrewers.
Caput Mundi è la loro Dark Strong Ale: colore mogano, quasi nero, schiuma fine non troppo presente e persistente.Il naso pizzica per le spezie (pepe, coriandolo e anice stellato) ed anche nel palato mostrano la loro presenza accompagnate da frutta matura e leggeri cenni di caramello.
Stupisce la frescura della bevuta che poi vira lentamente sul calore alcolico dei suoi 10 gradi.
Magari una birra non per tutti ma sicuramente per molti!

Land that gives birth and sees the productions of many breweries known and appreciated throughout the boot.Birrificio dei Castelli is another great example of the Marche production; was born in 2012 in Arcevia, province of Ancona, where Giovanni and Roberto transform the passion of homebrewers into a profession.Caput Mundi is their Dark Strong Ale: mahogany color, almost black, fine foam not too present and persistent.The nose tingles for spices (pepper, coriander and star anise) and also on the palate they show their presence accompanied by ripe fruit and light hints of caramel.The coolness of the drink is astonishing and then slowly turns to the alcoholic heat of its 10 degrees.Maybe a beer not for everyone but certainly for many!
