Cominciamo nel dire che la VIV è appena arrivata ed ha già vinto il premio di Lallemand come birra debuttante 2022 ma ha anche convinto tutti i presenti all’Italy beer week di quest’anno, noi compresi.
Profilo aromatico avvincente grazie all’aggiunta delle scorze di pompelmo ed all’uso sapiente dei lieviti Philly Sour e LalBrew Farmhouse.
In bevuta un corpo abbastanza presente ed una spiccata acidità, mai astringente, accompagna la bevuta.
In chiusura pompelmo ed una nota di litchies tornano in retrolfatto assieme ad un piacevole sentore maltato.
Grandissimo lavoro e meritatissimi i premi e le belle parole che un po’ tutti hanno speso per questa nuova arrivata.

Let’s start by saying that VIV has just arrived and has already won the Lallemand award as a debut beer 2022 but it has also convinced everyone present at this year’s Italy beer week, including us.
Compelling aromatic profile thanks to the addition of grapefruit peels and the skilful use of Philly Sour and LalBrew Farmhouse yeasts.
When drunk, a fairly present body and a marked acidity, never astringent, accompanies the drink.
In closing, grapefruit and a note of litchies return in the aftertaste together with a pleasant malty scent.
Great work and well deserved prizes and nice words that everyone has spent a little on this newcomer.
