Barab – Schwarzbier

Siamo di nuovo a Livorno e precisamente da Doctor B Brewpub il giovane brewpub toscano nato nel 2019. Barab è “la nera” del birrificio, una Schwarz da 5° gradi alcolici.
Colore nero e schiuma corposa, voluminosa e persistente dal classico colore nocciola.
Aromi di caramello, caffe, cioccolato e leggerissimi sentori di liquirizia nelle connotazioni olfattive, preludio ad una bevuta leggera, moderatamente amara che inizia con rotondità per chiudere poi asciutta e pulita.
Un’altra ricetta di bassa tedesca ben interpretata e creata da Francesca e Laura.
I fan di Star Wars troveranno nel nome, anche questo rigorosamente palindromo, richiami alla saga stellare.
Il lato oscuro però, lo vedi solo fissi intensamente il bicchiere.

Barab is the brewery’s “black”, a 5 ° alcoholic Schwarzbier.
Black color and full-bodied, voluminous and persistent foam with a classic hazelnut color.
Aromas of caramel, coffee, chocolate and very light hints of licorice in the olfactory connotations, prelude to a light, moderately bitter drink that begins with roundness and then closes dry and clean.
Another low German recipe well interpreted and created by Francesca and Laura.
Star Wars fans will find in the name, even this strictly palindrome, references to the star saga.
The dark side however, you only see it staring intently at the glass.
