Keller – Spezial

Saremo ripetitivi ma il recente viaggio in Franconia ci ha lasciato profumi, sapori, immagini e ricordi unici che non possiamo non continuare a condividere.
Spezial, insieme a Schlenkerla, sono forse i birrifici più famosi al mondo della zona di Bamberga, tipicamente cittadini, integrati nel tessuto urbano e punto di riferimento per abitanti e turisti.
Ma sono i circa 500 metri di salita che dal centro di Bamberga portano in collina a lasciarvi davvero senza fiato, sia per lo sforzo della camminata che per quello che troverete: il Biergarten Spezial-Keller.
Uno spazio all’aperto, che domina tutta la città di Bamberga e che rimette in pace con il mondo per la fantastica vista che offre.
Si, poi c’è anche la birra ma parlare della Keller forse più iconica al mondo, risulterebbe ripetitivo.
Un solo consiglio per gustarvela in pieno…non barate e raggiungete il biergarten a piedi, il primo boccale andrà giù in men che non si dica!

We will be repetitive but the recent trip to Franconia has left us unique scents, flavors, images and memories that we cannot but continue to share. Spezial, together with Schlenkerla, are perhaps the most famous breweries in the world in the Bamberg area, typically citizens, integrated into the urban fabric and a reference point for inhabitants and tourists. But it is the approximately 500 meters of ascent that from the center of Bamberg lead to the hills that really leave you breathless, both for the effort of the walk and for what you will find: the Biergarten Spezial-Keller. An open space that dominates the entire city of Bamberg and puts you at peace with the world thanks to the fantastic view it offers. Yes, then there is also beer, but talking about perhaps the most iconic Keller in the world would be repetitive. Just one tip to enjoy it in full… don’t cheat and walk to the beer garden, the first mug will go down in no time!
