Mills and Hills – Imperial Stout

Nel 2015 Fyne Ales, rinomato e famoso birrificio scozzese, inaugura il nuovo impianto da 65hl e per festeggiare l’avvenimento decide di brassare una nuova birra.
Per farlo chiede la collaborazione del birrificio olandese De Molen e l’accoppiata Scozia/Olanda da alla luce la Mills and Hills, una imperial stout da 9,5 gradi.
L’utilizzo di diversi malti e luppoli provenienti dal vecchio e nuovo mondo miscelati e brassati con maestria dà un risultato di puro godimento, sia visivo (colore ebano quasi nero, schiuma corposa, persistente e color cappuccino), sia gustativo (melassa, cioccolato, caramello, frutta secca).
Il grado alcolico, ben nascosto, dona calore e spessore alla bevuta, con un inizio dolce e tostato e un finale amaro quanto basta a riprendere il bicchiere per il sorso successivo.

In 2015 Fyne Ales renowned and famous Scottish brewery, inaugurates the new 65hl plant and to celebrate the event decides to brew a new beer.
To do this, it asks for the collaboration of the Dutch brewery Brouwerij de Molen and the combination of Scotland/Holland gives birth to Mills and Hills, a 9.5-degree imperial stout.
The use of different malts and hops from the old and new world blended and brewed with skill gives a result of pure enjoyment, both visual (almost black ebony color, full-bodied, persistent and cappuccino-colored foam), and gustatory (molasses, chocolate, caramel, dried fruit)
The alcohol content, well hidden, gives warmth and thickness to the drink, with a sweet and toasted start and a bitter finish just enough to take the glass back for the next sip.
