Hedemora – Porter

Hedemora Porter dello svedese Oppigårds fa parte della linea Heritage e vuole tramandare tutte le caratteristiche di una porter ben fatta, anche se la prevalenza di note di caffè la rende molto vicina a una stout. Timida al naso, regala al palato un sapiente bilanciamento di dolce e amaro, fortissime note tostate e un corpo medio che quando va via lascia la bocca ben pulita e pronta a ricevere cibi forti che possano competere con il suo gusto intenso o…un altro sorso di birra!
La schiuma beige abbondante e persistente chiude questa birra bruna con riflessi ramati di 5,6%. Caffè su tutti, ma anche mandorla, prugne secche, cioccolato fondente. La luppolatura dello East Kent Golding traspare a malapena, mentre si fanno ben sentire i malti.

Hedemora Porter by the Swedish Oppigårds Bryggeri is part of the Heritage line and wants to pass on all the characteristics of a well made porter, although the prevalence of coffee notes makes it very close to a stout. Shy on the nose, it gives the palate a skillful balance of sweet and bitter, very strong toasted notes and a medium body that leaves the mouth clean and ready to receive strong food that can compete with its intense taste or … another sip of beer!
The abundant and persistent beige foam closes this brown beer with copper reflections of 5.6%. Coffee on all, but also almond, prunes, dark chocolate. The hops of East Kent Golding barely shines through, while the malts are strongly felt.
