Esplode all’olfatto appena si apre la linguetta della lattina argentata con note di liquirizia e pane nero tedesco, e parla al gusto soprattutto con note morbide di malto ben tostato. L’avena ammorbidisce la sensazione di bevuta che nasconde bene i 7,1%. Rustica nell’aspetto velato e leggermente viscoso, questa porter marrone come una castagna ha una schiuma poco persistente color crema, dalla grana media. La parte più caratteristica di questa porter è la sua persistenza che, dopo un ingresso amaro, vira pacatamente verso il dolce e resta quasi come una caramella al mou, lunga sia all’olfatto che al gusto: una bassa fermentazione che punta in alto.

Opperbacco’s Baltic Porter starts from Abruzzo and reaches Russia without hesitation. It explodes to the nose as soon as you open the tongue of the silver can with notes of licorice and German black bread, and offers to the taste special soft notes of toasted malt. Oats softens the drinking sensation that hides the 7.1% well. Rustic in its veiled and slightly viscous appearance, this chestnut-brown porter has a slightly cream-colored, medium-grained foam. The most characteristic part of this porter is its persistence which, after a bitter entry, turns calmly towards sweet notes and remains almost like a toffee candy, long both in smell and taste: a low fermentation that points upwards.
