Dessert in a Can Imperial/Pastry Stout di Amundsen 10,5% I ragazzi norvegesi di Amundsen portano avanti il progetto Dessert in a Can che ormai da qualche anno fa discutere e divide il mondo di tutti i Beer geek in giro per tutto il mondo, per questa occasione abbiamo la Cookies And Cream.
Alla vista mogano scuro con un cappello di schiuma beige cremosa ma poco persistente.
Al naso un trionfo di profumi uno coerente con l’altro, il caramello, un leggero sentore di liquirizia, il caffè, la pasta frolla ed ovviamente il cioccolato.
In bevuta spicca un corpo pieno ed estremamente rotondo, quasi assente la carbonazione, nonostante i 10,5% va giù che è un piacere, abbiamo assaggiato già altre Imperial di questa linea, questa Cookies and cream rimane più coerente con una classica Imperial Stout regalando in più quei profumi “pastry” che la rendono allo stesso tempo originalissima, ottima e consigliatissima.

The Norwegian guys from Amundsen Brewery carry on the Dessert in a Can project that for some years ago has been discussing and dividing the world of all the Beer geeks around the world, for this occasion we have Cookies And Cream. At sight dark mahogany with a creamy but not very persistent beige foam cap. On the nose a triumph of aromas, one consistent with the other, caramel, a slight hint of licorice, coffee, shortcrust pastry and of course chocolate. When drunk, a full and extremely round body stands out, almost no carbonation, despite the 10.5% goes down with pleasure, we have already tasted other Imperials of this line, this Cookies and cream remains more consistent with a classic Imperial Stout giving plus those “pastry” scents that make it very original, excellent and highly recommended at the same time.
