Ci colpisce immediatamente la voglia incredibile da parte dei ragazzi di non perdere mai il contatto con la gloriosa storia di questo birrificio nato a fine dell’800.Tutto comincia nel 2006 quando Antonio ed i ragazzi di Birra Perugia mettono tutti loro stessi in un progetto che ridarà vita allo storico marchio arrivando per varie tappe alla vittoria di Birrificio dell’Anno nel 2016.
Antonio ci tiene tantissimo a spiegarci tutte le vicissitudini che hanno caratterizzato il loro percorso ed a farci vedere i cimeli storici tra cui una bottiglia, da poco rinvenuta, del 1920 di birra Perugia, soffiata a bocca e piena di quelle irregolarità e piccoli particolari che sprigionano storicità da ogni millimetro. La fine della giornata passa tra un assaggio e l’altro nella splendida Taproom tra una Pils, assaggi del loro splendidoSidro fino ad arrivare all’intramontabile Golden Ale, un capolavoro.
